What could be buried in your yard? Throughout the semester I have been working on an antibiotic screenings of bacteria located in my backyard and how looking in similar such places could potentially lead to discovering new antibiotics. My bacteria has shown large zones of inhibition on many of the ESCAPE Pathogens' safe relatives, making it a good example of what could be lingering in your own backyard.
