Description

The importance of this project is to understand the concern of antibiotic resistance and how that will impact our future and medical progress. I have taken a soil sample and have been screening it for antibiotic resistance against ESKAPE pathogens. My bacterial candidate is a gram-positive rod with spore forming bacteria. My candidate inhibits the ESKAPE pathogen Enterococcus Faecalis.
