Description

The purpose of the study is to see how quickly we can get the seeds to germinate. The problem we are trying to solve or study is how to grow milkweed for monarch butterflies. We conducted our research by cutting the top of bottom of the milkweed seeds and put them in sand, we also watered them. After completing the research we found that the showy milkweed germinated more than the common milkweed. Overall the common milkweed needed less water. We also decided we might need to put the seeds in soil rather than sand.
