Description
The goal of this research is to search for anti microbial species in soil. A soil sample was taken and diluted using serial dilution. Candidates that showed inhibition on the serial dilution plates were cultured and put onto a master plate. The master plate candidates were tested against safe tester strains to determine whether they inhibited growth against those strains. Metabolic testing, PCR, and gel electrophoresis were used to determine the identity of the candidate.
