Description
The purpose of this research is to examine if the West water basin at Johnson County Community College is effective at improving water quality. Our sample was collected from the West Basin on 7/1/2024. Our research is highly significant because we are testing for toxic pollutants that could be harmful to humans and animals. Our preliminary findings show that this sample is safe to drink, as it is soft, meaning that it has a small amount of minerals and pollutants. Additional testing will reveal the mineral and pollutant quantities in the sample.
