Description
The purpose of this research was to see if I can discover an antibiotic from backyard dirt. During my research I did several serial dilutions. Then I went on to test my diluted soil against the ESKAPE relative pathogens. After culturing the relative ESKAPE pathogens I found one possible candidate that was resistant to Enterococcus faecalis. The remaining part of my research has not been done yet but I will go on to do PCR, Gram staining, pore staining and acid-fast staining.
