Description

An attempt was made to compare the steam distilled product of Allium fistulosum in the fresh form and the freeze dried form to identify changes in volatile compounds identified using gas chromatography mass spectrometry. Upon obtaining results with no significant organic compounds resembling Allium fistulosum peaks, a causation analysis of insufficient extraction began - leading a qualitative analysis of contamination present in the majority of the class experiments.
