Description
How many times a day do you use your car or take public transportation, wash and dry your clothes? Perhaps you like to go adventuring outdoors to parks and stores. While all of these things are seemingly average, they hold a certain quality in common. A common material surrounds you. From automobiles to washers and dryers and cars to lamp posts, sheet metal is a crucial element in everyday life. This project will explore how to effectively and efficiently create a lamp (pictured below) using sheet metal. From cutting and forming to joining and finishing process, a descriptive flow of how the raw material gets made into a lamp will be discussed.
