My partner and I have done a lot of work to analyze the water that is in the JCCC stormwater basin. the problem is can the basin work efficiently to purify run off water. our water sample was drain water post day. we did a lab that is called water quality/analysis lab, in this lab we tested the water sample we had and got a lot of results that are interesting. The experimental data we got: nitrate: .13-60 ppm, iron:0 ppm, Nitrite: .02-3ppm, Lead: .122 ppm. these pollutants could have impacted and affected people's health and animals. lead can cause brain damage for humans for a long term and nitrate could cause toxins to impact ecosystems.
