Description
This research project is essential for monarch caterpillars and butterflies to live and survive off of milkweed plants, it helps them thrive and it is an important vital part for the monarch butterfly cycle. Solving the issue by experimenting with different substrates with different milkweed seed species and adding water and comparing the different growth processes. Butterfly seeds did better in dryer substrates rather than moist soils, any additional work would be observing and collecting data on the butterfly/ caterpillars and how well they thrive for their journey.
