Description
The growing number of antimicrobial-resistant infections continues to cause avoidable loss of life. By 2050 its projected to cause 8 million deaths per year. Therapeutic strategies based on the use of peptides is one of the leading areas of research to help combat the antimicrobial resistant infections. This project focuses on creating a dipeptide in a liquid state and testing it for antimicrobial activity. This development and research of different peptide combinations will help diversify the options of treatment when combating an antimicrobial-resistant strain of pathogen.
