Description
When it comes to the manufacturing business, sheet metal is one of the most important and useful resources ever created. Its durable and lightweight properties make it optimal for household appliances like ovens, HVAC systems, refrigerators, and washing machines. Its amazing resistance to the elements also makes it useful for vehicles like buses, cars and even aerospace or aeronautical aircraft. For my project, I will be making a 2-D layout pattern of the image of the lamp below. This layout pattern will include all of the dimensions for the lamp. After I create the pattern using AutoCad softwares, I will find the most optimal position to configure the layout pattern onto the sheet metal to ensure that waste calculations and costs are kept as low as possible.
