Description
This experiment demonstrates the synthesis of a tripeptide containing L-tryptophan using Boc protection/deprotection strategies and evaluates its antimicrobial potential. This experiment was done in three phases. Boc protection of L-tryptophan’s amine group Using Boc-anhydride. Acid mediated deprotection, and EDC mediated coupling to create a peptide bond.
