Description

This study aims to compare the level of engagement in extracurricular activities between Honors and non-Honors students at JCCC. The research question is: Do honors students participate more in extracurricular activities compared to non-Honors students? The response variable for this study is extracurricular involvement. This will be measured by the frequency of participation in campus organizations, clubs, events, etc. This comparison is significant because extracurricular involvement plays a role in student development, providing opportunities for leadership, networking, etc. Data will be collected through a survey distributed to both Honors and non-Honors students, asking about their involvement in various on-campus activities. The results will offer valuable insight into whether being in the Honors Program influences a students likelihood of engaging in extracurriculars. This could even help to inform campus programs and resource allocation to support student involvement at JCCC.
