Description

Several studies report that the amount of visible wildlife decreases along with the temperature of the environment, as animals reduce activity to conserve energy. This study seeks to observe how the activity of wildlife on the JCCC campus is impacted as the temperature fluctuates. This study makes use of a trail camera at the JCCC pond to measure visible wildlife in the area, coupled with daily temperature measurements to measure the impact on visible wildlife. This data can be used to better understand how slight changes to the environment can impact animals.
