Description
The purpose of this project is to isolate a pure culture from a soil collected in Lenexa Kansas. Based on the hypothesis that a pure culture can be isolated from a soil that has been collected, serial dilutions, Gram staining, endospore staining, acid fast staining and T-streak have been done on the microbes that grew with a zone of inhibition. The future results being to determine which type of bacteria is/are contained in the collected soil and attempt to find an antibiotic.
