Description

In this project a sample of dirt from a Lenexa backyard was collected to analyze just how much bacteria is in dirt. Also focused on was if any antibiotic properties were contained. We found a sample that produced a zone of inhibition and numerous tests were ran on it. It was found that it is facultative, and positive for oxidase and catalase. In conclusion dirt contains numerous species and varying degrees of maturing bacteria.
