Description

Due to worldwide healthcare challenges regarding medication inefficiency against virulent bacterial infections my 2019 class has collected, isolated and observed potential antibiotic candidates from a dirt sample. A combined mixture of soil collected from Liberty, Missouri and Overland Park, Kansas was the bases for the experiment. The goal was to identify and isolate any potential candidates based on a visible zone of inhibition. After isolation of individual colonies, I identified three possible candidates.
