Description

In an effort to combat increasingly low IQ scores (antibiotic resistance) in bacteria, soil dilutions were preformed to find more alternative antibiotic products. After 10 initial candidates were picked from the soil dilution, a bacterial species currently only known as ‘Gerald’ was picked for its exceptional inhibition of ESKAPE pathogen relatives. This big, beautiful boy showed promise when put against pathogens Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Acinetobacter baylyi. Each was no match for the superior intellect of Gerald the brave. Gerald was also identified as bacillus shaped bacteria, and is Gram-negative. DNA results are still being processed, however, estimates show sequencing will most likely result in a genetic coding of only A’s, as Gerald passes all of his classes with ease.
