Description

Antibiotic resistant has become more popular throughout the years. With new antibiotics coming out many companies are losing site of existing antibiotic resistant. By taking soil samples found within the Kansas City area we are trying to discover new or already exciting antibiotics. By isolating the colonies and putting them against pathogens such as Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas putida we can see if they have any qualities of being able to treat these.
