Selective Plant Breeding: Silphium as a Case Study
Abstract
During the Dust Bowl, much vegetation had succumb to drought. One particular species, Silphium Integrifolium, seemed to remain unaffected in some of the hardest-hit areas. This video examines the species as a case study for selective plant breeding.
