Kansas Studies: Ethnic Groups in the 20th Century
Abstract
Geared toward those interested in ethnic studies and Kansas history, this course will explore the strengths and struggles of various ethnic groups occupying the state of Kansas leading up to and during the 20th century. What role did these groups play in the development of Kansas communities, and what can this history teach us about the myths and realities of immigration, both past and present?
