This presentation will demonstrate a reconceptualized version of the narrative essay in a multimodal form which allows students to weave together video, images and text to tell a personal story. The assignment itself as well as examples of students’ digital stories will be shown to demonstrate the possibilities of reimagining the narrative essay.
