Morality in a technological world - A dying skill set?
Abstract
Dr. Desiree L. DePriest examines how algorithms in social media drive human perception and behaviors, particularly if people consume that information unthinkingly. She makes the case that those who work in technology need to think through effects and their moral responsibilities as part of the skillset.
