Responsive teaching through open-mindedness
Abstract
Dr. Robert Bruce Scott argues for the need for “responsive teaching” to meet the various needs of students with differential needs. He argues that Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is insufficient without a sense of empathy for student needs and a willingness to adapt to meet their needs.
