Description
Osteogenesis imperfecta is a rare genetic disorder that affects the production of collagen, causing affected individuals to have weakened bones. There is no known cure for osteogenesis imperfecta, but there are corrective surgeries available. There is a large variety of severity with osteogenesis imperfecta, and there are new options to treat this that are being discovered.
