Description

Brevibacillus laterosporus is a bacillus species that is spore-forming. This particular strain was isolated by a JCCC microbiology student and was found to inhibit E. coli and Pseudomonas putida when grown competitively. This research is focused on exploring methods of extraction and isolation to further determine what antimicrobial agents are present.
