Description

Antibiotic resistance has become a growing problem. Due to decreases in funding, less and less research has been done in developing new antibiotics to combat pathogens. The Small World Initiative is a way to provide research through testing soil samples against various ESKAPE pathogens, in hopes of finding a new strain of antibiotics. Through my research at JCCC, I have identified a strain of bacteria that shows inhibition against other bacteria.
