Abstract
The fate of Medusa has resonated with a variety of audiences. Artists like Antonio Canova and Luciano Garbati have attempted to reinvent Medusa’s finale through the medium of sculpture. Both pieces display a grandiose demise; however, Canova’s work keeps with tradition, while Garbati’s sculpture concludes with a unique twist.
