Abstract
In this paper, I will attempt to give a historical account of crystallomancy - the ritual use of crystalline stones of glass for divination - and crystal healing in the British Isles and western Europe. I will refer to crystallomancy and crystal healing as a tradition. I have defined “tradition” as an established set of actions or beliefs that has been passed down from generation to generation, either by writing, spoken word, or practice.
