The Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard has enabled learning management systems (LMSes) to integrate third-party apps on their respective platforms. This presentation describes research done on the third-party apps activated at Kansas State University during the initial five years of the Canvas LMS’s existence and emergent thematic selections year-over-year and what that might say about the university’s uses of such apps.
