A Fresh Look at the Faculty Evaluation Process
Abstract
Linda Merillat, Jane Carpenter, Bobbe Mansfield, and Debbie Isaacson, of Washburn University's School of Nursing, describe key ways in which their team has updated the faculty-evaluation process and developed a comprehensive, rubric-based form that focuses on continual improvement rather than a summative score. Sample charts, forms, spreadsheets, and procedures are provided.
