Abstract

Dr. Jessica Holden summarizes some of the research on the positive and negative effects of screen time for youth, especially given the mass movement of children to digital devices during the COVID-19 pandemic. She offers some research-based advice for parents and teachers in dealing with this issue of children spending so much time online.
