Book review: Educators advocating for higher salaries, improved work and classroom conditions
Abstract
This book review focuses on various efforts to infuse advocacy into principal, teacher, and student work in K12 education, in order to improve pay, workdays, and other conditions in education. The book is an edited collection by Elizabeth Ethridge, Jill M. Davis, Christian Winterbottom, and Amber H. Beisly and is titled “Advocacy in Education: Research-Based Strategies for Teachers, Administrators, and Teacher Educators” (2020).
