Description

In the beginning I brought in a sample of dirt in hopes that I could grow a microbe that would inhibit bacterial growth. I diluted the sample of dirt and incubated that sample until it formed individual colonies. I then narrowed down the colonies and found one of the species began inhibiting strains of the bacterial after running it through several screens. The inhibition of the bacteria that is a safe relative to a pathogen could mean that my grown microbe could be used to inhibit the pathogen as well.
