Description

This session touches on popular assistive technology used by people with disabilities and addresses some ways you can make documents, videos, and web sites more usable. Universal design concepts are stressed to show that making elements accessible to computer users with disabilities can often benefit the larger population of computer users. The University of Kansas recently created a website resource for faculty, staff, and students to address accessibility concerns. The website will be demonstrated as an example of a resource that might be useful for other institutions.
